For many people, the iPad has replaced the traditional computer – both Mac and PCs. People spend a majority of their time checking email, updating social media, and watching videos. You can do all of that with ease from an iPad. However, the iPad has for more uses.
A couple of weeks ago, I was a vendor at The Home Show at the Trademart Building in Jackson, MS. I setup in the lounge area and talked to businesses setup on the main floor. Like most of these conventions, the internet was incredibly limited. 200 people connecting to a hotspot makes for slow internet speeds!
During my time there, I left my MacBook Pro closed and used my iPad to send emails, take notes, lookup information, and more. I did it all over my cellular LTE network. I could rely on connecting to the internet without hunting for passwords and waiting for pages and email to load.
